What is included in your price, and what is the buyer’s responsibility at destination.
What our price includes
Prices published on this website are FOB China base prices. They include the vehicle and its delivery to the port of loading. They do not include international freight unless quoted as CIF, marine insurance, duties, taxes, port charges, customs brokerage or inland transport at destination.
Buyer responsibilities at destination
- Import duties, VAT/GST, excise or environmental taxes and any other fiscal charges.
- Customs clearance, brokerage and port or terminal handling charges.
- Type approval, homologation, emissions and safety compliance, and vehicle registration.
- Compliance with any import licence, quota or age restriction that applies in your country.
These requirements vary widely between markets and change from time to time. We recommend confirming them with a local customs broker before you order.
Incoterms used
We normally trade on FOB terms, and can quote CIF where you prefer us to arrange freight. Other terms such as CFR can be discussed. The Incoterm used is stated in your proforma invoice and contract, and it defines where risk and cost pass to you.
Restricted destinations and sanctions
We comply with applicable export control and sanctions rules. We may decline an order where a vehicle, a destination or a buyer is subject to restrictions. Where a transaction requires an export licence or end-user declaration, we will tell you before the order is confirmed.
How we help
We issue the full export document set, match the consignee details you provide, and share the paperwork your broker needs. Tell us your port and country at the enquiry stage and we will flag the usual documentation and timing.
